Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness activity that combines the best features of sport and tennis with cardiovascular exercise - delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning, aerobic and anaerobic workout.
Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity using fast paced tennis games and drills for players of all ability and fitness levels featuring music, heart rate monitors and low compression Cardio Tennis Balls.
Cardio Tennis is an official ITF Tennis Fitness Program developed by the Tennis Industry Association in 2006 in the USA and is supported by the Official Tennis Federations in Australia, England, Canada, Germany and Japan. It is also currently active in 30 countries.
Cardio Tennis can best be described as tennis on steriods and is for all ages, ability and fitness levels.
During a typical Cardio Tennis session you will have a warm up, drill session, games and a cool down. There can be between 6-8 participants on court. Each participant is monitored using a Polar Heart Rate Monitor enabling the coach to give constant feedback to the participants on how hard they are training.
Once the hour training is completed each participant will receive an email containing information from their training session, via a specially developed Polar App.
